Easter Baskets, Part II

Alabama Chain Blocks
Today, we will be constructing the 4 center setting blocks, but will cut some of the fabrics needed for the side setting triangles as well. The remainder of the cutting will be done next time.

Cutting Instructions for all setting blocks:
Cut (7) 1" x WOF of fabric of tan background fabric and then subcut into

(36) 1 x 1 1/2" rectangles
(36) 1 x 2 1/2" rectangles
(36) 1 x 3 1/2" rectangles

Cut (2) 1" x WOF of double pink fabric and the subcut into
(72) 1" x 1" squares
Cut (1) 11/2" x 6" of double pink fabric and then subcut into
(4) 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" squares 

Layout the units as seen below and assemble.
 Each block uses (4) 1" x 1 1/2" rectangles,
(4) 1" x 2 1/2" rectangles,
(4) 1" x 3 1/2" rectangles of tan background fabric;
(1) 1 1/2" square and
 (12) 1" squares of double pink fabric. 
Block should measure 4 1/2" square.

Make 4 blocks.
Save the remainder of your squares and rectangles for the side setting blocks.
